The Gentlemen’s Academy was founded in 2011 in Dublin by friends James English, Chewy Chewerson and Gianni Clifford. The pals had become tired of traditional male hangout spots and decided that a new space that combined both learning and socialising was the answer. With that, The Gentlemen’s Academy was born, its goal is to encourage creativity and camaraderie in the modern man, while developing skills both academic and practical. It endeavours to support local, independent business where possible, creating a platform for brands, creatives and thinkers to inspire a generation of like minded men.
To date The Gentlemen’s Academy has collaborated with Jameson, Guinness, Beefeater Gin, Electric Picnic, Body & Soul, Coppinger Row, Indigo and Cloth, Movember, The Butcher Grill, Ballyvolane House, 3FE, Sheridans Cheese, The Blind Pig Speakeasy, The Wine Buff, Diep Le Shaker, Fallon and Byrne, 37 Dawson Street, The Yoga Hub to name but a few.
